I've always thought... "Steal from the Best"
Is a list of films to watch where the individual acting styles of the stars are worth studying: "A Streetcar Named Desire":- Vivien Leigh - a very English style, Kim Stanley - Method trained, & of course Marlon Brando - creating “Brando” . Most diverse "The Misfits":- Clark Gable - the complete old style film star, Montgomery Clift - one of the terrific talents despite a Method training & Marilyn Monroe - a totally rare & individual talent. Plus anything with Anna Magnani - entirely from left-field. Few of these originals exist today but it's what made great films and real stars.

Plus are quite useful to make you sound as if you know what you are talking about when casually chatting with people who know the entertainment business.
A slightly fuller outline of my life and career that got me into, out of & back into a life that I have thoroughly enjoyed and take a great pleasure in passing on.
My outlook of the moment is
"One of the great things about age is that one's memory is predisposed to enriching the facts."
