Give yourself a regular acting work-out from Shakespeare to Noel Coward via Tennessee Williams. Get an insight into the English style/traditions of acting. Build yourself an audition reservoir. Find what makes you different and exercise it.
Keep your head in the right place. Give the neurons a work-out in the old brain cells. Work on characters you would love to play but may never be cast for.
Exercise your creativity and take the risks you may never be asked for.......but know how to deliver whenever you are.
Nobody can teach you to act. You either can or you can’t. What I can do is to teach you how to use your imagination
......to really understand
”the very age and body of the time his form and pressure”
.....and most importantly encourage you to take the risks that acting should be about.
